Lydia Millard is the leader Minneapolis
deserves on City Council.
Our city council is broken, focusing more on scoring political wins against the mayor than on moving our city forward with real, equitable change. And while fighting Trump in DC is important, we have plenty of issues that need addressing here in Minneapolis. Luckily, Lydia Millard is running to get to work here in our city.
Lydia Millard is a renter, pro-union, pro-choice Democrat, and second-generation African American resident raised here in Minneapolis. She doesn’t just talk about advocating for the working person, she IS the working person.
Lydia is running for City Council because Ward 10 deserves practical solutions, accountable leadership, and a vibrant, safe community for all. She has the right priorities to move Minneapolis forward, for all of us.

Lydia Millard is the leader Minneapolis
deserves on City Council.
Socialist Aisha Chughtai represents everything that is broken with our city council.
Last summer, she stayed silent when a Black police officer was killed in our neighborhood trying to provide first aid.
And this summer, her leadership was questioned after she was caught on camera screaming “F**K JACOB FREY” on stage at an event.
She touts that Uptown is on the “Upswing”, but anyone who lives in our area knows that things just aren’t bouncing back like they could. Cars windows are getting smashed, businesses have closed, and it’s no longer the vibrant place it used to be.
Meanwhile, Council Vice President Chughtai remains laser-focused on destructive policies that make us less safe and prevent our city from moving forward.
We deserve a leader on the city council, not Aisha Chughtai.
